Hi,
If the Phone is not turning on even at Full charged. there must be something wrong with the power port or the power supply of the phone. You might need to have it checked by a certified technician.
Thank you for using Fixya. your recommendation is highly appreciated for the free support.
Is there no sign of any light from the camera when you turn it on? When was the last time you used that camera? If you have left the battery inside the camera for quite some time, then most probably, it got exhausted. Despite of being charged for hours, can you put back to the charger again and see if it gives a red battery charging indicator? If it gives a red light, then you may need to replace the battery pack.
Here is a website that lists the things to do and check to try to fix this problem: http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007/11/simple-fix-for-dead-cameras-that-wont.html
Mostly this consists of ensuring that the battery is good, and holding a full charge, and also making sure the battery contacts are clean, both on the battery and inside the camera.
As a last thing to check, the switch could be bad. The next web blog talks about another problem the camera could be having, which is a lens "stuck" issue: http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007/12/fixing-lens-error-on-digital-camera.html
Even though it says lens error, it still apllies to stuck lens.
Good luck, and hope this helps.
Had that problem too in October (during vacation in Sardinia); had to return the camera to Canon for repair. They noted a change of circuit ... It 's now fully operational again
Try removing the battery for a couple of seconds then insert it again. Click on the power button, it should turn on and turn it off again to close the lens.
