If you sign in to your same gmail account in the contacts manager and Google maps, and you have the synch settings set, you then go to Settings / Your Places and under Labelled your contacts will appear, you would have to select each one, one at a time, show that on the map & Save (gold star) each one - not as easy as importing all contacts at once. Maybe something in a future version??? (hint - hint - Google)
Yes it is. Apple decided to replace one of its most useful applications, Google Maps with its own version, Apple Maps. Compared to Google Maps, Apple maps display much less information like certain street names, street directions, and subway stops. Moreover, Apple Maps does not have the street view feature that Google Maps has. It should be noted that Apple Maps is a brand new application and will certainly change for the better in time.
