Doesnt charge the red light comes on like it is charging but it clearly isnt charging, because the music plays fine for 10 seconds then it shuts off

  • Anonymous Mar 27, 2014

Yesterday I bought the iLuv mobione bluetooth speaker. The user quide says that i need to charge it before use, but it does not show me that its charging. There is no red lite, it means that the battery is full. The problem is that speaker isnt working without runs to the computer. When i took off runs nothing happens. Its like there is now bathery.

It sounds like the wireless headphone battery isn't holding a charge anymore. You will have to contact the company for a replacement battery. In some cases (depending on the model), the unit will have to be shipped back to the company for the installation. If your headphones are under warranty, you shoudl receive a replacement battery free of charge.

I can't get my Polaroid Bluetooth wireless speaker to work!

hold the button down and it will change to blue, then you need to make sure your phone is connected to the speakers bluetooth. then when you play music off you phone it will come out the speaker. the red light is for aux mode - where you plug your phone or ipod in.

It wont charge it blinks three times then stops

Hi,Okay, well, I don't want to be a shill for Apple (I mean, heck, I had to buy my Shuffle, so it's not like they're sponsoring this in any way! :-) so let's talk about the color sequences and what they mean.

First off, there are a number of different functions that are denoted by different color sequences, so flashing green might mean one thing when you're listening to music, and something else entirely when it's plugged in and charging or syncing with your PC.

The primary functions are powering on, charging, syncing, and general feedback. Let's look at each.

When you turn on your ipod shuffle, the light will indicate your current charge level:

green = 30-100% charge, you're good to cruise
orange = 10-30% charge, low, but still good for a short workout
red = less than 10% charge, time to plug it in
no light = too late, you've run out of juice

If you see an alternating pattern of green-orange-orange then your Shuffle's crashed or otherwise needs to be restored. Needless to say, that's not a good thing, but probably easy to fix when you hook it up to your PC or Mac.

When you're charging up your shuffle, there are three possible light states:

orange = charging
green = fully charged, unplug whenever you're ready to go
flashing orange = busy, either syncing or in use as a remote disk

When you're playing some music, you can see visual feedback on what's happening and what state you're in:

Press play and

solid green = you're playing music
flashing green = you're in pause mode

Press and hold play and

green-orange-orange-orange = you've disabled your buttons
orange-green-green-green = you've reenabled your buttons

That's bound to be one where people panic and fear that they've broken their shuffles, I bet. If your buttons aren't working at all on your Apple iPod Shuffle 2nd Gen, then press and hold your Play button to see what light sequence you're given. This is also shown by the Shuffle flashing orange when you push a button too.

If your player flashes alternating green and orange, you have no music in the shuffle. This can be because it's fresh out of the box, or because, well, something's happened and the music has vanished. Either way, time to sync with your iTunes library.

If you're seeing a flashing red sequence, you're just about out of battery and just need to plug it in so it can charge up.

Finally, Apple has some good tech notes on the new Shuffle too that you might want to check out if you're still a bit baffled by this tiny engineering wonder: Understanding status light behavior, Shuffle Second Gen, Frequently Asked Questions and iPod Shuffle Support Overview.

Normally when i charge my cameras battery a red light will turn on to let me know its charging and will stay on until it is fully charged but whn i went to charge my battery yesterday the red light began...

Charge your battery with an external power supply or a car battery charger for like 10 seconds (1 ampere will do the trick) by connecting the + and the - of the battery to the + and - of the power supply.
Now insert the battery in your normal charger. ìf it will still not charge do it again for 10 seconds.

My check charging system light keeps coming on. I replaced the alternator about 2 years ago, and the battery about 10 months ago. Trying to figure out the possible problem before taking it to a shop.

Check the voltage ot the battery when the light is on. Ity should be approx 13.6 volts. If its around 12 volts, the alternator isnt charging. BUT just beacause it isnt charging, doesnt mean its bad, wirng has to be verified good, and connection.

Charging problem

The red light means that your zen stone needs to be charged or that it is fully charged. If it plays music it is fine. If it doesn't turn on and has a red light try charging it.

Hi i have a Casio Exilim 8.1 digital camera, ive had it about a year and its worked fine but ive just put it on charge and on the charger thers a red flashing light, were normally the red light doesnt...

The cradle is defective.  Casio replaced the first one of mine for free then they told me to sit and spin when the second one broke 8 months later.  I had only used the camera ~ 10 times.  So, I went to a big box electonic store (Best Buy) and bought a Digipower travel charger.  It charged the battery up just fine.  I also bought a Dynex Memory Card Reader/Writer to transfer the photos to  my computer.  Good luck.  The defective cradle is a known problem that Casio is refusing to correct.

Coby MP-C7095 Won't turn on

On my Colby player there is a small reset hole in the back. Mine has sometimes just stopped playing and shuts off. If you use a small wire (paperclip works well) push it in and reset it.
