I cant reset my onn tv, the volume wont go past 22, remote wont let me do a factory reset, its like the tv is locked, can anyone help
Myonn tv will not come on when I press the power button on my remote control it only flashes red I've been trying for several days well several weeks to try to get my TV to work can someone please help me all I want to do is watch TV
There are two types of reset to TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight; will be better. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

Press tv on the Sky remote
press and hold select and red until the led blinks twice
type in 0 0 6 0
press the power button, if the tv turns off then the press select and the remote should work all the tv functions.
If the tv does not turn off then press tv then the power button and keep doing this until the tv turns off, once it turns off press select and it should work.

There is no way to solve the problem without the remote. Thanks to the good people at ASDA customer service who can direct people where to order a replacement remote for £11. Alternatively the Acoustic Solutions (Argos own brand) remote also works with this telly.

i have the same problem and i find if i take the panle off were the buttons r i heat it with a hair dryer and my tv woke just find i do it every moring and thats me alll day the tv will work find so give it a try i just leave the 2 screws out from the top panle and its easy dun
make sure u hold the on botton in wen u r heating it with the hair dryer and u willl be find let me no how u get on
