My Nextbook's volume is stuck on full blast. I already turned it off several times but it is still stuck. What do I do?

To get out of Safe Mode, please try the following.

1. Touch and Hold the "Power" key.

2. Tap "Power Off".

3. Once the tablet is off, Touch and Hold the "Power" key again to restart.

The tablet should now be out of "Safe Mode".

If the "Safe Mode" is still running after you restart your phone, I would then check to make sure your "Volume Down" button is not stuck. Check to see if it has anything stuck in it as well, dust, etc. Anything like this can cause the phone to go into, and get stuck in, "Safe Mode".


If that doesn't work try this...

Use the "Status Bar" to turn off "Safe Mode'. Pull down (swipe) the "Status Bar" of your phone. Now tap the "Safe Mode" button. This should turn "Safe Mode" off. Now your phone will automatically restart, so that it boots up out of "Safe Mode".

And lastly...


If you want to get rid of/disable "Safe Mode".

1. First turn off the tablet.

2. Next press and hold "Power" until you see the manufacturers logo on the screen, then release the power button.

3. "Quickly" press "Volume Down" and hold it for few seconds until you see the message "Safe Mode: OFF" or something similar.

4. If you wanted re-enable it, simply repeat the steps above, and you should see "Safe mode: ON" rather than off.

(this is all i could find on the internet so this is not to say it will help you but try it and see what happens).........PRess the power button and the volume down button at the same time and hold until the unit restarts... it resets the charging cycle and the note will charge reasonably quick from then on... I do this on occasion when my battery seems to charge slow.
plus some people are saying get a new charger.

press power, press home button + volume at the same time a menu should appear in top corner , once that shows leave go of all three buttons then with volume press down and when you reach the heading you need press power . YOU DO THIS ONCE YOUR NEXTBOOK 8 IS TURN OFF ( make sure battery is in ).

You need to reset it by pressing the on button, and at the same time keep tapping the volume up several times till you see the little Andy Android come on and stop. This will reset your tablet. Good luck.

this could be a codec problem or video was record on low sound settings .try checking that your sound is up full right click on sound icon....open volume mixer make sure all slides are up full.

The problem could be that you are pressing down the power button and the volume button at the same time when you shut down. That will cause an android tablet to reset itself. There may be an issue with the power shut off button.

Throw it out and get a new one they are really inexpensive now a days .not worth the time or the headache. Sorry but true.

Did you shut your Nextbook tablet down completely? You press down on the right of the volume button and at the same time press down on the on and off button this should turn it off to restore the unit to charge it.

The Nextbook tablet can be turned on by pushing down the volume button and the power on and off button at the same time, hold down a few seconds and wait. It should turn on again. It always works for me.
