You are limited to just replacing batteries....if this does not work then take it to a camera shop to have it tested!

Remove your battery and memory card for 15 min and put them again. (you can also try by putting new batteries. In some cases battery can be faulty.) Then restart your cam. If then also problem persist, Sorry you have to get it serviced. there is a mechanical problem.

Cannot turn on my Kodak easyshare c713

Hi I had the same problem with my daughters c713. Tried several bateries found out that the camera is specific with its bateries brand. When i put in new ones from kodak itself from my sons camera a c913 the c713 turn on again. Tried a new pack local brand checked them first and voltage was ok but didn´t work again. Back in those from kodak and ok again. Tried philips also ok.
So try different brand and find out. Good luck.

Battery warming up the camara

Was your camera working before you put the new battery? if yes, then its possible some dirt or grit has got stuck between the lens and the body and therefore you motor might be warming up.

Since you 've bought a new battery, I dont think It may not be the battery, the way you are explaining. It could be the lens motor itself, since its warming up.

Try to do the following: ( I 've got this checklist from the forum itself)

Remove the batteries from the camera, wait a few minutes. Put a fully charged batteries back in and turn the camera on. if it doesnot work then,

2: Remove the batteries again, as also remove the memory card. Then install the newly charged batteries, when you turn it on it should come back to life.
3: Insert the cameras Audio/Video (AV) cable, and turn the camera on. Inserting this cable ensures that the camera's LCD screen remains off during the start process. Thus extra battery power is available to the camera's lens motor during start up. This extra power can be useful to overcome any grit or sand particles that may be jamming the lens.
4: Place the camera flat on its back on a table, pointed at the ceiling. Press and hold the shutter button down, and at the same time press the power-on button. The idea is that the camera will try to autofocus while the lens is extending, hopefully seating the lens barrel guide pins in their slots.
5: Blow compressed air in the gaps around the lens barrels with the idea of blowing out any sand or grit that may be in there jamming the lens. Other variations include blowing with a hair dryer in “no heat” setting, or sucking the gaps with a vacuum
6: Repeatedly tap the padded/rubber usb cover with the intent of dislodging any particles that may be jamming the lens. Other variations include hitting a side of the camera against the palm of your hand.

Try the above and let me if its any help.
Best of luck

Samsung L730 wont extend lens and dosent turn on right

Try removing the batteries and memory card. Let the camera set for awhile. Put the batteries back in but not the memory card, restart the camera. Does it work know? If it does, turn the camera off put the memory card back in. Turn the camera on, does it work now? If it doesn't, replace the memory card.

Kodak Easyshare CX7530 won't stay powered on

SOLUTION: Fot the past two years, fully charged NiMH and new alkaline (generic and fresh Name Brand batteries) in my CX7530 always gave a red light and immediate power off -- symptoms of low batteries. Today I tried it again with the same problem. This time, I folded up a small piece of stiff paper to depress the small Lithium battery module detect switch in the battery compartment, and put my NiMH batteries back in -- it WORKED for the first time in two years! After removing the paper and reinserting the batteries, it still works. I suspect this somehow recalibrates the low battery detect circuit. I hope it helps you as well.

Camera forgets the date. asks for dae setup every time I put on the camera may be even after 10- 12 minutes. hough the batteries remain inside & are fully charged. I have tried by setting default settings...

Will the camera work without this item set up or does it stall there? If it works otherwise, just live with it. There is not a 'repair option as such- you could check out the Polaroid Web site tech support team though
