Question edited for clarity. Added a few upper case letters for 'Proper Names', (it's not 'new jersey' unless you are wearing it) and the word 'Lottery'. :>D
Of course no one can predict the lotteries winning number, but there are ways to improve your odds. If you were track all of the past lotteries winning numbers, you will see that certain numbers seem to keep coming up more than the rest. There are software programs you can download that allow you to keep track of lottery number. And there are websites that also track and allow one to download these numbers. No guarantees of course, but it may improve your odds at hitting three of four number wins.
Look at who sent you the email or letter. If you have NOT entered this contest, look out...especially if you are required to pay ANYTHING! You may be a target of phishing, or an organized crime effort, likely Money Laundering! The scam goes something like this; First, you win a lottery you never entered. Second, in order to receive yohr winnings, you must deposit a check in your bank account and send the lottery company a sum of money out of your account. Then you will receive the full sum ofvyour winnings. Actually, You have won nothing. The first check you receive is a phony check drawn on a bank that ddoesn't exist. Whenbyou try to deposit that check, if they accept the check, and you withdraw the amount you are supposed to send to the phoney lottery company, you have LAUNDERED MONEY! When. You send the money you withdrawn from your account, and sent it to the phoney lottery company, they have sold you a phoney check for the money you sent them! Then the "lottery company" vanishes and you are the one the authorities come looking for. You can even be charged and convicted for depositing the phoney check and withdrawing the real money! Be careful if you are told that you "won" something you did not enter to win! And internet lotteries are phonies...everyone"wins"'!
