My towels look as if they have bleach spots all over them. these are costco towels so the quality is there. it has ruined many other towels also. I do not nor have ever used bleach on this washer.

I first noticed after buying some really pretty towels with embro emblem. It looked like they were bleached! I chalked them up to me but then washed another and the same thing happened. I then purchased expensive Costco good quality towels and they all like they've been bleached! There are huge spots all over all the towels now. It only does it when towels are being washed and the towels that this washer ruined are beige in color. The darker ones I have stayed the same color. thanks

Quality issue, i really like Cannon brand, have some from Fred Meyer called Performance Quick Dry that are reallly nice and stay soft and supple, the others get blochy bunch up and get prickly and rigid no matter how much fabric softner I use

Bleach ruining clothes

Why use bleach unless it is to whiten curtains, ACDO make a specific product for that purpose

Use a pre-wash program and the correct multi - layered tablet or old fashioned powder

Both products contain bleach and whiteners as part of their construction.

Make sure that you use the correct one for coloured items as they will remove colour

Clothes picking up residual dyes & bleach spots

I dont think the washing machine is designed to put bleach in??
Remember a washing machine is never really empty of water.
It holds about 1 litre of water in the tub after each cycle.
Thats the way they are designed.
The same as front loader.
I would put clothing in the tub to bleach, then rinse them in the tub with cold water ,then wash them?? cheers

Clothes picking up residual dyes & bleach spots

You might want to check with the company on this one. You can email them at their web site. We've never run into this and I haven't heard of anyone else who has. Maybe your unit isn't pumping properly or maybe some of the water is siphoning back into the tub? I have heard about pumps becoming partially or fully clogged and in need of being cleaned out.

Keep us posted on this one?

Spotting on Towels and sheets

cut down slightly on the amout ot detergent you are using.
Check the inside door window, that probably has a residue of detergent on it from a previous washing. I wipe my inner door off with a towel that is going into the wash cycle. For as long as I have been diligent in wiping off the inner door window my the spots on my clothing haven't returned.

Facia panel keeps breaking/bleach ruins clother/water level too low and doesn't clean well

Do not use bleach, if you do you will get a bleaching effect, the new machines use less water, do not volume overload machine. mix the load to prevent uneven out of balance spin and check feet are level. Ragrds Advisor
