Delete cookies and run a virus scan. There's more but start there. Make sure all your open files are closed. Is your storage almost full? That will slow it down. How many devices are running off your router? Make sure you stay within its capacity. Run a speed check make sure it's the parameters your paying for. Make sure your updates are up to date.
Is it a .exe file? you just have to double click on it and if that doesnt work try right clicking on it and run as administrator. Many time that will work.
Follow steps below. Instead of wipe data factory reset. Wipe cache. And reboot. If that doesnt work more issues may be present. You may loose some files or data. Ive never had it happen but i dont want you to be uset if it does.

You have checked that you are joined to the network via the router?
The laptop most certainly is.
Try disconnecting the router and turning the Nextbook off for a few seconds, connect the router on again and open Nextbook.
Join the network again and put the password in.
This way of connecting has worked for me. Hope it will for you.
1. Remove baterry and wait for some time , then turn back battery and turn on, see if helps...
2. Find on vendors forum site problem like these and try solutions there
3. Take it to service shop
Go to settings>display and make sure the autorotate is enabled. If it still isn't working then there may be an issue with your device's accelerometer, test it in a game such as temple run.
