The doorlock mechanism is most likely bad and will need to be replaced

not sure bout the IE error But I would check the clutch, the motor coupler, the door switch, and the belt if applicable?

Answer = yes regular 115 vac outlet

Have you tried to plug it directly into the wall Maybe the the power strip you are using is not able to handle the amps needed to run air cond. If thats not it you have a short to ground that needs to be checked out.

You should be able to get this item at most hardware stores they are very generic. just take or draw a picture of the plug end there are only about 3 styles

You usually grab it by the front and pull, but there might some screws holding it in.
