This is a safety feature built into systems today. If one indicator goes out the other will stay on, and visa versa. Look into your cars fuse box for bad fuse at blinkers. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

Indicater or flasher problem on jeep cherokee 2003

If your having problems with your indicater or flashers on your vehicle then their are a couple of things that would be causing you problems. Now if when you press left or right turn the light flashes fast when turning one way but not the other then this indicates you have a blown bulb on the side that is causing it to flash faster so you need to press it to that side and have a look at the front and back bulbs and change the one thats not working.

If on the other hand your flasher/indicater works sometimes and not others then this is usually down to the flasher relay located in fuse box (see pictures below)
To find out if it is the relay and not the flasher control that you press to turn the indicator lights on is to try using the hazard warning light button press this and if this works every time then the chances are its the control and not the relay (see pictures below) but if it sometimes works and sometimes dont or if it dont work at all then this points towards the relay so changing this should then solve your problem

FLASHER REMOVAL
  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative lead.
  2. Remove the steering column opening cover from the instrument panel.
  3. Remove the combination flasher from the junction block

  2. make sure you line this up correctly to prevent damage being done to the pins when inserting it into the holder

Hi wonderd if any one can help. i have a ford focus 2002 tddi estate the hazards arnt working but the indicaters are. i've changed the hazard switch for a new one and checked all the fuses in the

Look on the back of the fuse board ,for this you have to drop the fuse board as their are two fuses at the back and i know one is for the central locking ,the other ? Now when the hazard switch is disconnected the indicators shouldnt work but the only thing i can think of is the indicator unit is faulty ,do the hazards light the indicator lights up and they dont flash or is nothing happening?

Audi tt x reg - the key fob is not working. Additionally, the hazard warning lights intermittently come on when i the engine. The hazard warning lights do not stop flashing and i often have to try...

this can be a big problem so will start on easiest first. and try to repair as going, the passenger door the problem with this could be the solenoid for the door lock. and or the switches in the lock. driver door has the same but is the master door. ie if you open door from unlocking at pass door it will only open this door, drivers side will open all doors. flashing hazards this could be because the alarm is not completely turned off this could be because of the doors, mainly the drivers side. try to find the fault with the door lock and get back to me when you have found the fault. you will need a meter to check for volts and the switches, check them as lock unlock from the inside and the key to make sure they working. dpd spray should be able to clean them if you can spray into the lock and housing that is plastic. give a good flush out after its working wipe up the mess from the spray and mear grease on the lock moving parts.

Turn signal wont work on 2002 c320

The trafficator flash can that clicks and flashes the turn indicator lamps maybe faulty or the trafficator fuse is faulty.
To test the flasher press the hazard warning switch on and if the warning lights do not turn on then the fault is the trafficator can or the fuse is faulty.
