How do I set the digital time, date, etc on this Wrangler digital analog watch? I haven't used it for years, and my watch just died so I am trying to bring it back into service!

Tried all 4 buttons individually and in various combinations; all I seem to get is some kinda stopwatch action, and what seems to be the ability to change the alarm setting. No time set, and I don't even remember if it has a date function, but I can't find that either!

I got one of these on a cruise, and I had the same issue, and searched on the web just now (7/26/08 9:20pm) and could not find an answer.....so, I just sat here for a few minutes to push all the buttons...

Mine has 4 buttons at the 2, 4,8,10 positions....corresponding to "start", "reset", "mode", "light"

Hold down the "start", then while holding it down, push the "reset" button.....voila!

SOURCE: aquatech watch

press mode button 3 times untill you get into the time set mode - press lap/reset twice until the hours start to blink.

press start/stop and cycle thru all the modes depending what time you want to set - it will go thru 1, 2, 3, etc thru 24 H then 1, 2, 3, etc thru 12 A then 1, 2, 3, etc thru 12 P - depending on thte time you want to set the A is for AM and the P is for PM

hope this helps

SOURCE: How to set kenneth cole unlisted digital watch with 4 buttons

OK I'll do my best to describe the procedure...

Part 1:
Press mode button till the seconds window blinks
Press Lap/Reset button once to make minutes blink
Cycle through minutes using Start/Stop Button

Part 2:
Press Lap/Reset button once again to make hours blink
Cycle through hours using Start/Stop Button

(for this part, it's a bit tricky. Hours can be displayed in AM, PM, or 24 hour duration. AM is represented by "A", PM is shown with "P" and 24 hour mode is shown with "H", so keep an eye in the seconds window when setting your hour so you know for sure if you have the right hour)

When your done setting minutes and hours, press mode button again till you get to main screen
A helpful hint is to remember when setting up anything in this watch, mode will cycle through the different screens, lap/reset will change the value of whatever your modifying (AKA minutes/hours) and start/stop scrolls through the different fields.

Hope this helps. Sorry if it's confusing, best I could do.

I bought this watch in May of last year. For the last 3 months, every 2 to 3 weeks I have to reset the hand home position. Once that is done, I have to then reset the home city and time manually. What...

Hand home positioning normally has nothing to do with time setting.
Just set your local time and date and then you can do the hand home positioning procedure. This will not affect the time setting. If hands, after a while,do not show correctly, this means that the watch is under severe magnetic field, after severe shock or finally watch malfunction.
You must know that on this type of watches analog time follows digital time.

Cant get analog to sync with digital time. I live in SC and I try to set the time for 22:36 but then the analog set it to 12:36 am. :/

First set your local time, date and year and then run the "home positioning" (H-SET) procedure following manual instructions. If no any other problem exists, normally hands will "follow" digital time when watch is set back to time mode.

The analog setting of the watch takes place by pulling out the knob (kind of tough) and adjusting, like a regular analog watch. The analog and digital displays are will NOT stay in sync, unfortunately.

    Good luck.

Can't seem to get AM & PM set properly

Had Pulsar analog watch. Couldn't set either day or date properly due to being unable to signify AM or PM. When days changed one or the other would be 12 hours off.
""googled" adjusting Pulsar watches" and found site which explained how. You set day of week and date to previous day and date and then move watch time ahead until day and date are correct. Then set watch time. Seems to work.
