SOURCE: Yellow won't print with old or new cartridge

Some ink jets are differant. Some have an Ink jet cartridge system that has the print head on the cartridge itself. Others use a seperate print head. When you pull out the ink cartridge is there another small unit below the cartridge that you can pull out? If so that is the print head and you will need to replace it. Also make sure that you have taken off the tape off of the air pilot hole on the ink cartridge so it can work properly. www.tonerovernight.com

Double sided printing

To fix this issue, select on the start button on the bottom left of your screen then click on Control Panel. In Control Panel click on printers. Left click on the OfficeJet G55 printer once then right click on it and select Properties. Click on the Printing Preferences button then on that window that pops-up select on the Finishing tab. If you have the correct drivers installed, you will find an option there (a check box) to enable to print to both sides. Check that if you have it.

Hope this solves your problem. Let us know if it don't.

Thanks.

marglet, Turn-off and unplug the printer for a couple of minutes...there may be improper setting stuck in the printer memory. then plug it in and try to print the envelopes..if that doesn't work...Make sure there aren't any custom print settings causing this. Lastly...Try updating the drivers. Download the latest drivers from the site. http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/search/search_request.do?pageName=HP+printers_land Good Luck, Tim
