Not enough info....whaddya mean won't start? wont crank to start, cranks but doesn't start? Where can we start if we don't have enough info. You know exactly what you mean......no one else does.
There are two possible causes of this code an unbalanced load can cause this error, The unit usually tries a few times to redistribute the load before it will display this error. Try another load if the error occurs then you have bigger problems. The other cause could be a bad rotary position sensor on the motor in which case you would probably want to call a tech.
Usually the quickest way, is to uninstall from removal win, after removal, checkout programs that the file has been deleted. Restart/then access jaae and download new copy, don't wounder of while it downloads/ it asks question you need to ckick if you miss, you end up with error messages later.
be more specific,head unit could mean cylinder head/s could mean thermostat unit,were the hoses hooked up right? thermostat should be checked before installing,very easy to do could be stuck shut.was the heater core checked or flushed out?lots of maybys,wish it was in my garage..
H4 codes are related to the fusing unit. Specifically a low heat condition. Follow the reset procedure below. If that doesn't work further diagnosis of the fusing unit an peripherial circuits may be warranted.
Error code reset:
Perform the following key procedure "#" key, Interrupt key, "C" key, Interrupt key
"1" key, "4"key
Start key, "CA" key.
See if unit cycles and comes back up. If not turn off and then back on the main power. If error reappears on site technical service may be required.
