The screen will not work on my tablet everytime I try to swipe or touch something its like its froze up how do I fix it

Here are two things to try:
I- Using the Power button:
1 Press and hold the Power button for at least 4 seconds.
2 Swipe-down the shutdown confirmation screen to the bottom
edge of the display to turn off the tablet.
Using Charms:
1 Swipe-in from the right edge of the display to access Charms.
2 Touch Settings

Press the Power button to turn off the screen.
Using Charms:
1 Swipe-in from the right edge of the display to access Charms.
2 Touch Settings
NOTE: If your tablet is in a standby state (tablet is on, but screen is off), press the Power button or Windows button once to turn on the screen.

II- Unplug the battery, wait 30 seconds, then install the battery again.

Maybe the screen is too dirty to recognize the finger. Try getting the wipes to wipe the screen then get some screen protectors. Also there might be something wrong with the screen.

Try this:

Swipe from the top with two fingers separated
Tap on More twice
Tap on Accessibility twice
Explore by Touch - turn Off
Voice Guide - turn Off

Swipe from the top with two fingers separated

Turn off and wipe screen with a damp (not wet) cloth and then wipe with dry cloth!

Remove and reinstall the app.

Its a comman hardware problem, not Software.
Take it to the authorized service center,
They will replace it.

is the screen dirty, turn it off, wash the screen and try it again.

Try to reset the unit. the battery may be faulty.

my tablet needs to be caliabrated I try to touch a letter and it wont work

try to soft reset it by engaging the reset button ..If it has such a button it should be hidden in a hole on the side and need to be pressed until restarts ..(it should be powered and on when you do this) ..
If there is no button ..it means it has something wrong with the touch screen function ...and you should try to see if the screen is not out of focus..and try to swipe it in a certain point ..and if it is indicated..try in near by locations ...If you manage to make it start you should look in the main menu for screen calibration ..and engage it ..this should make the touch screen work proper again .
In worse case you will need the firmware and reset it to factory settings ..
