hi
blinking red light means camera is trying to charge flash circuitry. if you cancel flash mode, you can use taking picture. But if you want to repair, your local repair shop would charge around $35 to 75 depend on what they really want to charge.
Thanks and best regard!
Ok the lightning bolt is your power indicator: solid green-charging, Flashing green-fully charged, flashing red-low battery, flashing red three times the once green-bad battery. the "trash can" looking one is your hard drive activity indicator it will flash while your hard drive is reading and writing.
I think you have two separate issues going on, but I'm not sure.
The red lightning bolt on a Kodak I believe is a flash that is either not working, or shut off. Try the flash options and enabling the flash, or putting it on auto flash. That should take care of the red lightning bolt.
As for finding your photos, if you use windows XP, go to start, and then search. Your first options would be photos, video, music, click on photos, and search. If you have too, type in *.jpg in the search keyword box.
When you find them, you can move them back to your my pictures folder. This is assuming they are not deleted completely from your hard drive.
