My Toshiba TV is stuck on channel 65535 but I can't even access the Menu, when I push the button I just get a "No Signal" message.

Disconnecting aerial, power etc. Can't retune as menu facility is disabled both on remote and TV.

Try a reset to this TV and check. There are two types of reset to TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset; and the other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight; will be better. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

I lost my Original Toshiba remote control for my TV and I need to do a channel scan that is in the setup menu, but the TV itself doesn't have a setup button to push to access the scan function, How...

You can buy a universal remote, any best buy will carry one, I have even found cheap ones at dollar tree or dollarama. They come with a manual with the codes for the make of your TV just follow the coding instructions until you find the one that will operate your TV.
Good luck

SAMSUNG LE32R73BDX/XEU TV Digital TV Stuck on bbc1, no access to DTV menu to reset or retune. Sometimes picture is frozen, always it shows BBC banner and Mono. Standby - Info - menu - Mute - Power is not...

just spoke to Samsung support and it turns out that the freeview tuner had froze and needed resetting. To do this put TV on standby and then push in series these buttons on the remote: 'info, menu, mute, power' the TV will then turn itself on and display a menu. Press the 'down arrow' untill you've highlighted option 12 - 'reset' and then press the 'right arrow' to enter the option. TV will turn off and when you turn back on it will start in 'plug & play' mode as if new. Set the time and country options and then it will perform a complete scan. I've just retuned mine and all back to normal. Hoorah!!!! :-)

No picture - 65535 shows on screen

My 42" Dynex just did the same thing. 65535 NO SIGNAL.
The channel label for this said "ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ"

I went to menu... Channels .... Set for Cable TV... Scan Channels.
It rescanned. It took twice as long as normal to scan.
After the scan completed it worked fine except of one thing.

ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ stuck on the screen.

I shut the TV off, then things returned to normal.

Hope this helps.

Notes:
This TV is only 6 weeks old.
Cable hook up.
It is -plugged into a brand new UPS power supply.
I used the sleep timer to shut off TV. The 65535 problem occured the next time the TV was powered up.
