Nutone 9091 - coils heat up and light works but no heat dispersed.

Taken down and vacumned debris/dust from unit. It recently would start heating after 15 minutes in on position. Currently will not go further than heating the coils.

Open the back, check each little part that has wires going to them for continuity. Theres prob about 6 or 7 of these little fuses and parts. When you find the one that has no continuity, replace it with a new one and you will have heat again.

SOURCE: quits heating

umm. what was original problem that made you change coils to begin?? no heat i would imagine.dont rush to judgement thatyour fix didnt work, if your running the dryer empty to test your repair, its quite possible that the dryer is going to heat to desired temp quickly, and take a while to cycle back on. throwsome wet clothes in machine and test it then.

SOURCE: maytag gas dryer will heat for about one minute

The gas coils on the gas valve have gone bad. These are located on the gas valve and will be 2 solenoids. Replace them both and should be able to get as a set. 12001349 should be the number and cost less than 60.00 for the set. Good luck and thank you for using Fix Ya.

Has stopped freezing and cooling.

if compressor is working you will hear it. Take panel off and vacuum the area get all dust and debris of compressor and coils. This dust causes heat and will keep your frig from cooling. If that doesnt work try shutting down for about 6 hours like a defrost and restart.

After i have been using my dell precision 670 for a few hours the internal spreaker starts making random beeps

Its probably an alarm.

The most likely cause it that your CPU is running hot, but it would be best to check the user guide you got with the PC or consult the DELL website, perhaps download a new copy.

It would be a good idea anyway to disconnect your tower, open it up and (Carefully) hoover / brush (I use a natural bristle paint brush about 1.5") out all the dust and fluff which has probably accumulated inside. Also all the ventilation slots, front, back and side.

In particular, in the fans (Power supply unit, CPU heat dispersal and tower inflow).

The CPU heat dispersal fan, may be covered with plastic ducting will be screwed (4 screws 1 in each corner) onto the top of a heat dispersal plate/grid. This plate is usually clipped in place, leave it alone. Take the fan off and clean out the plate.

Have fun................

Macbook model A118 System powers up, startup sound plays, Apple logo appears, the throbber appears, system fan starts to race, system shuts-down. IMHO this looks heat related i.e. the CPU Fan is racing,...

Quite common in all pc's. You can check the fan yourself. Disconnect all power sources including battery.

You'll need to earth yourself to prevent static discharge. (Loose copper wire, one end round your wrist the other attached to a radiator or water pipe)

Take any plates off the bottom of the laptop you can and clean our all the dust and fluff that's accumulated especially around the CPU and Fan area making sure all vents are clear.

If that doesn't work, you have to go a little further.

You'll need to purchase some heat sync compound/paste.

Remove the CPU fan and Heat dispersal plate.

You will probably see some dried up goo, that's the old heat sync paste, its been cooked. Clean it off the CPU and the heat dispersal plate, spread the paste on both the cpu and the heat dispersal plate to form a good interface and re-assemble.

For cleaning I use isoproprial alcohol, is softens without soaking and evaporates fairly quickly; and a soft lint free cloth.

Before you start have a look on You-Tube, it has loads of videos which will show you how to do it.

Maytag Model RSW24EOD. Not cooling. Frost on freezer back wall

Low on freon or there may be accumulation of dust and dirt on the coils of the condensor. To check to see if the coils are dirty you need to remove the bottom panel of the fridge just below the frige door. Once you pop off this panel take a flashlight and look under the unit. You will see what looks like a radiator with a fan and fan motor in front of it. If these coils are blocked the unit will not cool since this is where the heat goes from the fridge to be dispersed. Clean the coils with a coil brush (purchased at any hardware store) and use a wet/dry vacuum to remove the debris. Once these coils are cleaned it will take about 12 hours for the unit to operate properly.
If the coils are clean already then you possibly have a compressor that is low on freon. I would check the coils first since most of the time this is the cause of the problem.

Good luck on your repair hope this helped you some

My fridge is working fine but my freezer is not keeping the food frozen it is a kitchen aid side by side any help?

Cleaned the condensor coils? If not locate the coils either underneath (open both doors and remove the toe kick) or in the rear (remove the back panel). Use a vaccum or long brush to get any dust, hair or debris off these coils. These coils are allowing the refrigerant to cool down and if hair or dust is all over them they cant release the heat efficently. This kind of stuff will insulate the coils and the heat cant escape or release. Otherwise you are dealing with a freon issue. If the unit is running but not cooling correctly anylonger it probably has lost some freon and will continue to lose it. Hopefully this helps.

Condensor shuts down after two hrs

The condenser coils dissipate heat. If dust and debris accumulate around the coils, your unit may not be able to cool properly, it may run continuously or it may stop completely as a result of an overheated compressor. You should clean your coils once a year.

Frigidaire #FRS24XHA is hot to touch and freezes food on the left

Hi: Those areas are designed to be warm to keep moisture from forming there(Moulion coil). When they get hot it means the fridge is over working. The condenser coils remove the heat from the fridge. When clogged the heat will leave anywhere it can. The moulion coil is the strip you described, and will overheat when the condenser coils wont disperse the heat. Most likely the coils need a good cleaning, on the bottom of the ref. Use a coil brush and a vacuum. Or even an air compressor to blow the dust and hair out; plan on dusting the house too. Pull the grill off the front and clean them. If real bad pull the panel of the lower back and clean it out too. Since you work in detroit the dust and hair on the coils would be like putting a blanket over your radiator. Parts would heat up. I hope it's just the coils. If a compressor is failing you can get the same symptoms. I hope it is the latter for you, as I'm in your boat also. I hope this helps, Jeff
