SOURCE: Where do I find the reset button on the Stiebel

On the Tempra 29 there is a "safety thermal cut-out" on the top of each of the heating elements within the box. I have had to open it up before to push the breaker. They are a small red plastic push button on the top. Carefully press the braker button without touching the electrical wiring inside. I hope that works for you.

SOURCE: I am a homeowner and

Hi,
The reset button is kicking out because the themostat is not....The reset is a safety switch so to speak. It is there to turn off the element incase the thermostat does not. I nrare situations the reset can go bad and kick at too low of a temperature, but usually not.To check out what is actually happening you will need to replace the t-sta and see what happens or sit there with an electric meter and monitor what happens in what order, very time consuming...
My recommendation would be to just change the t-stat and rest bot at once and you will be good again.

SOURCE: Stiebel Eltron tankless 24. Problem:No hot

Take off front cover, on the top of the two cylinders in there (the heating system) there will be a small red button. That is the Safety Thermal Cut out, depress that red button. It is similar to a circuit breaker. If the red LED comes on when you turn on hot water at a sink then that was the problem. I have on that trips periodically. Its annoying but not enough to replace the part yet. Good luck.

SOURCE: what s de minimum working pressure for a tempra

The manual says a MAX of 150 PSI but are you possibly asking the minimum water flow to activate the unit? If so it is .58 GPM or 2.2 l/min.

Tempra 24 Plus low water pressure

There are several potential causes of low water pressure with a tankless water heater like the Tempra 24 Plus:
  1. Flow rate limitations: Tankless water heaters require a minimum flow rate to operate properly, typically around 0.5-0.6 gallons per minute (GPM). If the flow rate drops below this threshold, the heater may shut off or fail to produce hot water. In your case, the initial flow rate of 3.4 GPM is well above this minimum, but the drop to 1.6 GPM suggests that there may be a flow restriction or other issue causing the lower pressure.
  2. Water supply issues: Low water pressure can also be caused by problems with the water supply itself, such as a clogged or damaged pipe, a water main break, or problems with the city water system. Check with your local water utility to see if there are any known issues or maintenance activities that could be affecting water pressure in your area.
  3. Water filter or softener issues: The whole-house water filter and softener that you installed could also be causing low water pressure if they are clogged or not functioning properly. Check to make sure that the filters are clean and that the softener is operating correctly.
  4. Plumbing issues: There could be issues with the plumbing in your home, such as a clogged or damaged pipe, a faulty pressure regulator, or incorrect pipe sizing. Have a licensed plumber inspect your plumbing system to identify any potential issues.
If you have already checked for these potential causes and are still experiencing low water pressure with your Tempra 24 Plus, it may be helpful to contact the manufacturer or a licensed technician for further assistance.

Tempra 24 installation. No hot water. No power led on fron cover. Is the led supposed to be on all the time or just when water is ran?

First, check the circuit breaker. Also, did you upgrade to heavier wiring and a double 60 circuit breaker when you had this installed?

The tankless water heater was working this morning, but now it seems no power is going to it. We've checked the circuit breaker several times but it doesn't seem to want to reset. Is there a fuse that...

If the circuit breaker will not reset it could be a few different things. First, circuit breakers do wear out. The bi-metal strip that makes the breaker function does break down metallurgy wise. A new one would have to be installed to fix this problem. The other possibility would be that a wire inside the water heater has grounded out thus not allowing the breaker to reset. A wire might have gotten to hot and the insulation around it might have melted or became brittle and fell off allowing the wire to touch bare metal inside the water heater.

Had hot water this morning, then a leak in public water lines about block away, caused pressure drop. No hot water. Shut breaker off, and found 2 safety thermal shut-offs (couldn't tell if they had been...

It is possible that when pressure dropped from city supply that it created syphon and sucked water from your heater back into city lines. This could have caused unit to burn out heating element. I don't know if your unit has any backflow prevention to prevent this from happening. If you can I would suggest that you check incoming power to your heater. It should be around 240 volts. I also would check reset or limit switches again. Hope this helps. Thanks

Water heater not working after turning up heat

Did you turn the breaker completely off, then back on? When a breaker trips it is in a middle position, and nust be turned off to reset it, then it can be turned back on.
