sounds like the drain live from freezer to outside is clogged. the water isnt making it you the condensate pan but coming out in the refrigerator. try finding and cleaning the drain line.
I had the same problem. The frezzer worked but the fridge was not getting cold. What I have learned is that the frezzer make the fridge cold, so if the frezzer is working then something is blocking the cold air to get into the fridge. Most likely ice. The air come in at the bottom of the inside of the fridge next to the frezzer. Pull everything out of the frezzer, then unscrew the plannel that runs along the back and you see if there is ice. If so turn frezzer off and dry out the frezzer. I used hot water.
you have a defrost problem, you could have a bad thermostat,a bad timer or addaptive defrost board, you didn't send model number so i can't tell you what you have there or a bad heater, you need to take off the back wall inside the freezer, and read out the heater and thermostat to see what's bad,and melt out all the ice,if you want to send model number i can look it up for you, also when you open the freezer door do you hear the fan blowing,if not you could have a bad evap fan motor
Check the thermostat located on the top of the freezers in the back of the freezer. This is a pretty common problem that 90% of the time comes down to a thermoostat being bad. REplacement of the part is fairly easy and fairly cheap to do yourself
is the noise like a hum? touch the compressor if it is really hot, suspect relay/overload combination defective touch the little line that comes out of compressor if cold, suspect the above. if you change the relay/overload combination, and works fine there's your problem. hope to se of some help.
