I have a sony bravia kdl-55xbr4 when you turn it on you have a double image until it warms up . Then the image will flicker sometimes. replaced fb1 board ,but problem still exist. anyone have an answer?

To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.
I have seen about a dozen questions here in the last ten days with several models with the same type of problem, Sony of course says they are not aware of this issue---typical for them to deny until smoke turns to fire.....
You know how to reset the tv to its factory setting, I think you are a technician. Second thing you can do is software update. Two models of the 46 inch Sony Bravia have a screen flicker problem. On my 2008 model, starting from cold, it lasts for 5-10 min, on LHS of screen. The Telefix tech who visited said this is common with these models (46in only), a new panel is needed. Sony provides warranty on this fault for 3 yrs, so you do not need extended warranty to claim. Discuss your case with Sony or Telefix.
The last Sony LCD set I had with a problem a bit like this had a bad LCD drive board. This is the board at the top of the set--that connects between the LCD panel and the main board.
