I have a gwl 08 washer with the same problem-the evacuation pump got wet from a leak and shorted the fuse at the control module(try finding an 8amp slow blow 120 volt glass fuse-virtually impossible),Fisher P says even the module is now deleted from their inventory of spare parts. The fuse(s) is clearly visible when you open the controller where you push the buttons on the face of the washer,

You will have to check the power from power supply to relay to control panel. You can check for voltage with multi-tester or voltmeter

Fisher paykel washer stopped working mid cycle no power cant get it to come back on

That's a pretty major problem because you don't know what went wrong. You need a technician to diagnose and fix. Probably the main board, but could easily be a broken wire..

My Fisher & Paykel GW709 Top Loader has stopped working. It stopped mid cycle. I turned it off and back on but it won't even light up now. Ii makes a short buzzing noise when you hit the power button but...

you need to check your pump and motor for shorts to earth, or low resistance readings across windings. the motor controller board will need replacing also most likely.

Have you tried to turn the mains power switch off and on to see if it resets the drawer to off state. Need a bit more detail of what you see on the display etc. when you try to turn back on.

Why would it stop mid cycle? You can hear the engine trying to start.

It is not the engine but the motor that makes the noise. perhaps it can be a mechanical issue that stops the machine at mid cycle due to friction on the drive or it can be due to faulty control panel or even a dirty/ clogged drain pump.

I have a F & P GW712 washing machine. The unit recently stopped mid cycle. From that point there seems to be no power whatsoever to the machine. What has happened?

Check the diverter valve. My washer did the same thing- cycled until it had to drain, then stopped. I removed the diverter valve, found a piece jamming it open. Removed the crud, reinstalled, works like a champ again.

Machine stopped mid cycle. No power now

No power at all?? pump may be gone & not allowing a path of electricity to the main board OR the board is gone.
