F09 error is no heating, you can fix that by opening up the back and pressing the red cutout button which will restore hot air.

Then there is this:

"Most of the times when the F:09 Error code apears on a Bosh Dryer is due to the thermal cut off being triggered, you can correct this issue by simply disconnecting the power to the unit and removing the back panel of the machine where you will find the button to be red. simply press it in and test the unit... if this doesn't resolve the issue, most likely your belt snapped off and would need to be replaced."

Machine stops working and shows F09 what does this mean

Really need the make and model as different manufacturers use the same code to mean different things. Hotpoint/Indesit/Creda F09 on almost all appliances means "Eprom Fault" this is a problem with the main control chip and you will need an engineer to reprogram the main module or swap it out. If it's Bosch, then the good news is F09 means "Heater Fault" which almost certainly means a cheap £20 replacement heating element needs fitting

Hi Our Bosch dishwasher (sms63e09uk) has E:01 displayed on the digital control panel. What does this mean and how do we rectifiy the problem

It means the machine is not getting enough water you need to replace the water inlet valve, that is very possible try cleaning it and see if that helps. If it does not then the problem is the water valve.Which is a very common problem.

This air flow error code refers to the dryer vent. This can refer to the dryer's lint screen, the thermistor behind the filter, or the vent itself could be clogged.
In order to determine which one is the problem we will need to gather some information.
1. Will water pour through lint filter's mess?
2. Outside where the unit vents on the side of the house can you feel air coming out?
3. Is the vent hose on the backside kinked or clogged?
4. Obstruction on vent housing outside (if screen is present on outside remove right away this is a fire hazard.)
Water should pour through the lint filter easily. Fabric sheets will put a layer of wax on the lint screen causing the dryer air circulation to be cut off. We should be able to feel warm, moist air at the vent outside. If air is not present you are in need of a dryer vent cleaning. A kinked or clogged vent hose can also cause the E01 error code. Ensure the vent hose is clear and placed in position with as few bends as necessary. When the vent is clear the E01 error should clear itself upon start up.

Hope helps.

My dryer runs for several minutes, then starts beeping and an error code E: 01 is displayed. I've tried unplugging it for 30 minutes, but that was no help. Any ideas?

Hello,

This means that the dryer is not able to exhaust correctly. Often times this is caused by kinked or blocked vent behind the dryer. If that looks ok, the vent in the wall may need to be cleaned. In this case or in most a professional dryer vent cleaner would be needed to clean the dryer vent.

One last thing you can check is the lint screen. On Bosch dryers the lint filter will become clogged from the dryer sheets. Remove the lint filter and run water through it. If water runs through, the lint filter is good.

I know this unit well and can assists you with any repair related question you have.

E-01 error code

hi there,

i understand your frustration here.

the E01 code means there is reduced airflow through your dryer and therefore before it overheats and starts a fire, it shuts down.

replacing boards and sensors will not fix this problem as it has nothing to do with the electronics or electrical side.

here is what you can do yourself:

check the venting on the dryer.
the vent hose runs from the back or side to the wall of your house.
it may be clogged or kinked

if everything is fine, i would contact Bosch directly and see if they have a recall or any service reports on this problem and if there are any solutions.

let me know if i can be of more assistance.

thanks.
