Re: How do I get rid of "Line" on my 14" TV with built in...
My guess is you're in the line input of the vcr section. On the remote there should be an input button, Try pressing it until you are in antenna or tv mode.

Not good. You may have a tab failure. A repair shop may be able to diagnose and repair this, but most likely the lcd panel is broken. The panel is the most expensive part of flat tv's. A new panel will cost more than a used tv.
You must have a show that has an anti-copy signal imbedded into the show causing it to not be recorded. This is due to DRM rules on copy right materials.
Connect one end of the VIDEO (yellow) CABLE to the AV1 in VIDEO jack on the back of the TV. Then connect one end the AUDIO (red and white) CABLES to the AV1 in AUDIO L and R(left and right) jacks on the rear of the TV. Connect the other end of the cables to the appropriate color on the DVD player (yellow to yellow etc.)
Press the CH + or – buttons on the remote to scroll the channels until AV1 appears in the upper left corner of the TV screen. Slide the TV/VCR/ACC switch to the VCR position. Insert DVD into player and press PLAY.
Hi, Video-2 is on-screen display. Press Display/ info button on tv remote, on-screen display will disappear. Please note that only Sony tv remote will work to cancel on-screen display. Thanks.
