Plug antenna cable directly into antenna input on tv. Place antenna where you believe you will get a signal (don't know where you live but you can look up site map for optimum direction). Go into tv menu set tv to air and auto scan air channels. Your set will receive and memorize available channels. In your sets menu you should have a strength meter. You can use this to tune in the strongest possible signal. You may have to go back and rescan the channels because if you improve the antennas position you might pick up more channels and they won't just come in automatically. Once you've scanned and received maximum number of channels there will be no need to rescan again. If you do you run the risk of losing some channels and only a rescan under optimum conditions with regards to antenna position and environmental conditions will gain those back. Keep in mind some fringe channels may come and go. Hope this helps.

Indoor antenna won't work on my cable ready set

You do have to make sure to switch the settings to an external antenna. You also will have to check that you have what is an analog signal available to you. If you antenna is analog it will only get analog broadcast. You may also need to switch to a digital tv antenna, The other thing is the range of you antenna. Most indoors, in a congested area will only pull in signal from about 20 to 25 miles out.

Advent tv indoor antenna hook up

If the antenna has a cable like cable wire--hook it direct to the cable fitting on the set.

If the antenna uses the flat type wire (called 300 ohm twin wire) use an adapter that will connect to the end and have screws for the flat wires and a cable slide on the other side to slide onto the cable fitting on the rear of the TV

A GPX model tvwb534 connecte to an indoor rabit antenna doesn't work?

You either may have the set on Cable setting or the signal is too weak for the set to pick up the channels---indoor antennas have a very limited range and many channels have ended on air broadcasts completely

Indoor antenna problem with Magnavox LCD TV Model 15MF605T/17

I have found most of these indoor antennae to be ineffective and a waste of money, however, I do not know anything about this particular antennae. I to have a Dish DTVpal, which I love! It's ugly and probably won't fit in your kitchen, but the best solution is to make your own "bow-tie" antennae, mount it indoors or on the roof and run a cable to the kitchen. Directions can be found on You-Tube. I live in SE Idaho (Pocatello) and can get 13 channels, most without having to adjust the antennae.

What type of indoor antenna work best with this unit?cobytv/tf-tv

A simple pair of rabbit ears (standard dipole antenna) should do the trick. You will have to set the source input to NTSC/ATSC and connect the antenna to either the analog or digital F- connector inputs if you use a RF splitter you can use one anatenna for both inputs. In any event try this first.
