I have a Wolf Range Model A-6-9 Serial # 74-179 F-90, I am using this range for my house. I need to obtain a manual for the recommended or required hood. What hood should I use? or where could I obtai

Because this is am older model, year 1987, I am having trouble finding a manual. I was told a lot of this material was lost when subzero took over the company. The contracter I work with is insistent I have the manual so he could review if there is a REQUIRED hood to be installed. If there are no requirements with this model I can move forward.

UPDATE to Solution #1: I just went to the Wolf Appliance website and found that the recall is still active, at least for the 48" models. Here's the URL: http://www.wolfappliance.com/recall.aspx There are instructions, affected models and serial numbers, etc. You can also call the "Rework Hotline" at 866-643-6408 or send an email to [email protected]

SOURCE: what size rangehood is required

Hello, here is the best you can get at the moment without further information about your unit, installation location, etc..

go here:http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/exhaust-hoods-d_1036.html

there are formulas for calculation hood cfm, and a calculator to input your dimensions that should get you close.

With that said, I would advise that if is that critical, call or contact someone in your area that does this all the time, HVAC companies/installers should be able to do this.

Hope this helped, and thank you.

Hello,
The F10 error code means that the computer thinks a button on the touchpad is stuck. Sometimes this can be resolved by making sure the touchpad connector fits tight into the control board. The F10 code can be cleared by pushing CANCEL/OFF. If it returns the touchpad needs to be replaced .

Wolf Gourmet Range oven lighting delay

This sounds like a problem that was common at the time these ranges were sold -- it prompted a recall:
http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml02/02022.html
Hopefully you can still get it fixed. BTW, these ranges were manufactured through 2000 by the Wolf Range Co., which only makes the commercial models now. Residential ranges are now marketed under the Wolf brand by Sub-Zero.
