Maybe, Windows Update does have some drivers; you will need to open the Windows Update control panel and check for optional updates. (Windows+X, select Control Panel. Go to System and Security, then select the link for Windows Update.) Check for updates (on the right) and then look at the list of Optional updates. Check the ones that you need.
Be careful: sometimes Windows Update provides the incorrect driver. If you need the drivers for a specific device, check with the manufacturer or post a comment with the manufacturer and model.
I hope this helps.

(Windows Update has successfully found the drivers for my older printer and scanner to go with Windows 8.1. Unfortunately, last week I had to hide an Network adapter driver by right-clicking on the update that was from an unknown company.)
Its a toshiba c655d-s5508 can u help me find a website that is easy to use plz an thanx so much
Toshiba has a list of drivers for the C655d-s5508 here:http://support.toshiba.com/support/model... . Scroll down and look at the left side of the page and select your OS (Win7 or 8, Vista or XP and the flavor (32-bit or 64-bit for Vista and up). If you aren't sure if you have a 64-bit version of Windows, go to the Control Panel > System and Security > System. If the OS details doesn't say x64 (for Vista or Windows 7), it's the 32-bit version. Then use the other filters to choose the specific drivers for various parts of your laptop. (Unfortunately, that is the best way to update drivers. I've tried several driver updating programs that often get the wrong driver.) I hope this helps. Cindy Wells
