Closing the back can be very difficult.
I once squeezed the back on a watch and wasn't careful - shattered the crystal :[
Take it to a jeweler and have them do it for you.

Garmin fr60 footpod

Read this BEFORE you buy a new Garmin footpod because of non-detection issues after replacing batttery.

My battery died and after changing it with a new one I've not been able to detect the footpod with my 910xt until now. I notice that in the cap or lid of the footpod where the battery sits before closing it sits a white piece with contacts for the battery. I had inadvertently taken this out when replacing the battery, which is fine BUT you have to put it back in a certain position. If you look very closely at the cap where the battery sits you will notice there are tiny grooves where the contacts should sit into. As soon as I line these up with the white contact piece, voila! Footpod was immediately detected. Try it if you are having issues after replacing a new battery.

How do I change the time on my Citizen Alarm Chronograph WR 50 watch?

First we need to determine what movement is in the watch.
Look on the back of the watch. You will see some numbers there will be a 4 digit number followed by a dash and 6 or 7 digit number.
The 4 digit number is the movement number. example e760 or b210. Ctizen has hundreds of them.
Next click on this link:
http://www.citizenwatch.com/COA/English/settings.asp
enter the movement number and click on get setting instructions.

Installing a spring in the Timex Ironman WR 100M watch

That spring is called COIL SPRING and it transmits the signal from the microprocessor to audio membrane fixed to caseback. This is how you hear all the beeps, alarms, e.t.c.
Examine watch movement and you should fine small hole (it can be even marked with an arrow and writing: COIL SPRING).
Fit that coil spring in to the hole and close the caseback. If you hear no sound, you fitted it in the wrong hole, so, refit the coil spring till you find the right hole and hear the beeps.

Rate, please.

How to change battery for Timex Indiglo WR 30M

I second the vice advice...the only thing that worked was to put it in a vice and crank it one more crank then you think is possible. You will hear a little "pop" when it snaps into place. It was the only thing that worked!

Timex Indiglo WR 30M Wristwatch

First, find the arrow on the back and use a small screwdriver or knife to pry open the back at that point. Replace battery and then replace back wiht the arrow pointing to the middle of the band as orginially found. Third, press the back on the left side and then use a rubber mallet to strike the "raised" side down and it'll snap in place. Alternative method -- use a cushioned screw clamp to compress the back.
