Well one way through the software.... is to on the desktop right click and go to screen resolution - advanced and set the screen to be off in certain minutes. When you close the nextbook should be off also.
1. Go to your desktop on the nextbook.
2. Tap on the screen and hold for 2 seconds, then remove your finger then a list of choices will appear.
3. Choose screen resolution, it's the second last choice, choose it, it will open another page where you will find the box to check that allows the screen to auto rotate!
Don't know why these morons can't read your question but they can give eroneous asnwers. Where you can buy the replacement screen is from places that sell parts for laptops and tablets such as Laptop Aid, Screen Aid, etc. . To find a good list, type 'tablet replacement screens' or 'Nextbook replacement screens' in your search window. Good luck, they are not one of the top brands so parts are not as readily available. Another option is to buy a used one with a good screen that wont turn on or something and use that screen. Might also be a cheaper option.
I just bought a nextbook8 tablet and the screen looks very blurry with a lot of glare. Is this a common problem with this tablet? Is there anything I can do or buy to correct this problem? My eyes really hurt looking at it.
