When you turn your laptop on start taping f8 at the same time.The machine will come to a screen that gives you some different options.Use the the up arrow button And highlight safe mode.Click the enter key.The next screen will give you the option to go into safe mode by choosing yes .Once your in safe mode You need to go to start >control panel >system> advanced system properties (vista& windows 7,advanced tab xp)>start up and recovery>Settings > start up and recovery, and clear automatically restart.Come out of safe mode with start just like you do from your desktop .After your PC shuts down start as usual and preform a system restore .Start > All programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.
