Once you have located the fuse panel, there will be a diagram showing the number, location, and size of the fuse. There should be a few spare fuses and a fuse plucker as well, providing they were replaced the last time they were used.

Well I am not sure if your lawnmower is similar to mine - when I want to engage the blades, I push the lever up and lock it in place.
I just replaced my cable - took about an hour. On the other side of ther lever there is a cable attached that goes to the cam to engage the blades.
You will need to look and see how it is secured at the lever and at the cam down where the blades are.
Mine was pretty easy to remove - there was a tab that locked the cable to the lever frame where the lever is located. At the cam to engage the blades there was a pin that needed to be pulled out to release the cable.
That was pretty much it. Look on the internet for a parts diagram of your particular lawnmower. You will need to include the mfg, and model -
The parts diagram should show you where it's connected. Make sure you have the new part in hand before you start to work on it.
If you don't, you may have to wait a day or two to get the part from a local supplier - if you're lucky they may have the part in stock.
Another reason to get the parts diagram is the part numbers are listed for all parts - when you call for a part use the part number for the item you want to purchae.
Electrical Circuit Diagrams - shows the freelander's fuses during the power distribution pages but they aren't listed by fuse box
2002 Freelander Electric Library - This most importantly shows the location of the fuse box, the fuse box diagrams with location markings, and the fuse values required for each fuse location. It also shows the connections for different sensors and a breakdown for the electrical operation of different car parts
a 2006 model car has colored half in by eighth in , blue red yellow green. they have numbers on the edge facing you, that show there limit, and should be replaced with same number always. "fuse box" is usually black plastic and marked FUSES , a diagram of fuse location and sizes is usually on inside lid. FuseBox is usually located at drivers left foot wall. also possibly under hood. some fuses will reset auto if battery is disconnected for 10 min. but! then the Radio must Usually be Reset
Go to the FREE Ford website and download the owners manual for your vechicle. It will show a picture of the fuse block, locations and sizes.
It's location in the manual is under "road side emergencies".
Hope this helps.
This model only has 1 spark plug. It is on the front of the engine, follow the plug wire to find it. The fuel filter is between the fuel tank and carburetor. If a new battery does not start the unit (first check the battery) you probably have a bad fuse. Located on the back side of the ignition switch. Trace the red wire and you will find it.
