SOURCE: Panasonic remote and volume/channel buttons do not work

My son put a penny in the SD card slot of my Pansonic flat screen tv. I finally got the penny out but now the volume and tv controls do not work. I can change the channels through my cable box but that is it. The volume does not work on my cable remote or the flatscreen. What do you suggest I do to fix this problem?? Thanks, Josh

Hook up for sound is to where on the set?

If using a box for signal is the sound turned down on it?

Is there a physical switch on the rear marked internal/external speakers?

In the set's audio menu or setup are the speakers switched off?

Something happened when you unhooked, moved and hooked up again.

The antenna has everything to due with reception.

Try moving it to a different direction or try a new antenna altogether. It's also possible that the three stations are weaker than the other two and the new room is blocking these signals more. It this case you would need to use an external antenna to retrieve the the signals.

Hi
The software version decides the function that coincide with remote signal. If the remotes' infrared signal frequency differ to the receiving spctrrum of the software, it won't work well. You must have the remote of the present TV itsef to work in coincide with the button actions. Just get it. There is no other way. OK.
