Have you contacted sky about this issue as they will probably be able to inform you as to the issue.

As far as I can tell Sky Go is not yet supported by Microsoft Surface Tablets running Windows 8.1. They haven't developed an App for the Windows Store yet as far as I know.

I don't know why, but you cash try resetting your iPad and deleting the app you use to view sky go.
If done, you can reinstall the app. You fine when you goto the App Store for the app, it has a little cloud next to it. Indicating you already bought it, so you can download it for free.

Oops reseting by pressing the on / off button and home button in the same time, till the apple logo appears. after about one minute you can switch on, with the on of switch. Keep it pressed for about 3 seconds, till it switches on.

Basically, you enter Settings;
Delete your Google account information;
Enter Apps, go to All Apps, and delete data in the following THREE places:
Download Manager
Google Play Store
Google System Services

Then, you re-enter your Google account information.
It worked for us, I hope it works for you, too.

You will need Apple Composite AV Cables to connect the iPad to your television. The cables can be purchased online or at your local Apple store.

You can also stream your iPad to your television if you have an Apple TV by using Apple's Airplay.

Try the following steps to resolve this issue:

1. Locate the Sky Go app on your Mobile device.
2. Hold down the icon until the app wobbles (You will see a White Circle with a Black Cross symbol, press on the cross to remove the app)
3. You will then be asked to confirm you wish to delete the app - Press Delete the Sky Go App will then be removed
4. Go back to the App Store and reinstall the Sky Go App. This can be found by searching for BSKYB
5. Access the Sky Go app again and you should be able to view content after you sign back in using your Sky ID & password.
