The video won't play back on the camera and will not transfer on my computer because the video was not recorded by the camera and I don't know why. This has nothing to do with a DVD.

SOURCE: Every time I try to play back a video, it goes super fast and I don't know how to slow it down!

Are you sure you have not recorded the video in time-lapse mode? Could be worth checking. Once in the Video setting, you can use the thumb ring to change video mode - one of these modes is normal and one is time lapse (there are five or six others).

SOURCE: I can't hear any sound off my camera videos

Hello,

The Nikon Coolpix 4600 does not record any audio with the video.
This is surprising and not very useful.

The Coolpix 5600 does and the 4600 uses the same body, that is why it has microphone holes on the top.

On the camera, go into the menu and select the setup. That's where you should find the option to turn on/off the video sound during camera playback.

I have no sound when I play back a video

I understand that you're not getting sound on the recorded videos when playing it in the Camera itself. Unfortunately, due to the bad design, the Camera does not have a built in speaker to generate sound when playing videos. It is required to connect the Camera to a TV or transfer the recorded videos to Computer to hear the audio on the videos.
Thanks for understanding. Please let me know if you require any clarifications.
