There are certain reasons which does not allow tablet to turn on

Press and holding down the power button for 20 seconds or more. Then turn the device back on by hitting the power button again. Sounds like the power button switch has given up on you. With a lot of care and time, you can fix this yourself for a few dollars if you buy the part and tools on eBay, or you can just take it to a repair shop.
Hold the volume UP botton down when it is OFF, then while holding that button down press and hold the power on button and keep both pressed for about 10 seconds. Then release.

Happened to me. My solution was to fully charge, then hold down power button for like one minute or more continuously. It causes some kind of restart. Last resource, Press Vol Down and hold, then depress power button and hold. This causes it to go back to reset mode. Good Luck.
