Filter is located bottom left of machine it has a small black hose tucked inside ,you would remove the Plug on the end of the hose and drain any excess water into a container then unscrew the filter anticlockwise to remove the filter any object within will now bw apparent... Good luck.

How do I find clean the filter of our bosch maxx classic 900 rpn front loader? I cant even find the filter.

You don't. Washing machines don't have a handy accessible filter...

Check the owner's manual that came with the machine.

Bosch maxx 900 manual

It could be caused by a damaged heater element.. remove and check for damage. One way to check is to remove the two wires and tape up to prevent accidental short circuit. set machine to a cold wash if it does not trip you know what you have to replace. if it still trips then remove the motor and check carbons/ brushes for excessive wear. good luck..

I have a Maxx Classic WAE20261AU/01 front loader. The machine won't start because the door won't lock. The door has been playing up a bit for about 2 months, but now it won't lock at all. It is...

Sorry. It seems that I have fixed it by using your solutions!
I drained it and cleaned the filter thing down in the bottom right hand corner, put it back to gather and then it turned on again!
Interestingly I found a bobby pin down there!

Thanks for your assistance John_Cross!!

Bosch Maxx 900 front loader won't drain water. Cannot remove filter lid by turning anticlockwise at left front bas of machine. It turns only a fraction but will not undo.

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Had the same problem with our Bosch, cap would not even turn!
Suggestions-
pour anticalc/limescale fluid into any gap there is around the cap. Empty the machine and you can switch it off providing the door is open! Then pour the contents of at least 2 sachets of proprietary anticalc powder/liquid into the drum direct together with a kettle full of boiling water. Leave overnight at the very least. The following day run just a spin cycle as then there will be no water diluting the mix. This mix will go through the filter and motor and is likely to help release the filter/cap. If you feel like it, do the overnight again. If nothing else it will ensure that the heater element is clean!
I had to spend a couple of hours gently turning the cap back and forth until it finally released its hold- but the filter did not remain attached to the cap by its rubber ring. More patience, anticalc fluid and all was revealed!
I now run an anticalc clean regularly............which reminds me..............!
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

How do I replace the door seal to a Bosch Front loader washer Maxx Classic WAE18060AU?

To change the seal the easiest way is to take the front of the appliance off. Remove the kick plate at bottom and you will see some screws holding the front panel on remove these Then open door and remove the screws holding the door lock on and unlip the seal by releasing the clamp on the front. The front should now lift off, if it doesnt then pull out the soap drawer and behind that at the bottom of the drawer is a screw holding the front on remove this then push the front panel down then it will lift off You can now take the clamp holding the seal to the tub off. Fit the new seal, fit the clamp to the seal and tub. From here, rebuilding is the reverse of the strip down.

My Bosch Maxx 2000 WFO 2060 is leaking from the bottom. Could it be that a filter somewhere needs to be cleaned? If so where is the filter located?

The filter is usually located at the bottom right front of washer, sometimes behind a removeable cover, or a drop down flap.If you can locate it, then unscrew it anti-clockwise to remove and clean it.
There is also a possibility that there could be a hole or tear in the door seal so check the seal as well.
Hope this is of some help to you .

Bosch maxx classic washing machine doesn't clean clothes

There are a lot of things to consider when trying to solve this problem. Obviously a front loader washes differently than a top loader. Top loaders tend to using a washing motion that is good for stains but wear out your clothes fast. Front loaders typically use less water and wash more gently, but in some ways still do better than top loaders. Anyway, think about any other variables that go into the laundry equation. Consider the distance the machine is from your water heater. This machine will use MUCH less water to fill than your old one, and, you know how when you turn a faucet on hot it takes a minute for the hot water to actually get there? It's the same way with your machine. If there's a sink next your washer, you should always turn on the hot water on the faucet until it gets hot right before you start the machine. The same goes for dishwashers. If there's not a sink close you can easily turn up the temperature for all hot water on your water heater, although that will use more energy.
Consider what detergent you're using. If you're using high efficiency detergent (like Tide he) maybe you should switch to your old brand. If you're using your old brand of detergent, try getting a high efficiency detergent.
