Is the receiver even turning on? If it is, listening carefully to the top cover, with the room quiet. Do you hear 1 click, or two?

SOURCE: JVC AX-33 Stereo Integrated Amplifier - very little sound!

Hi xaser

Check that someone has not turned on the tape monitor or mute. Both of these may cause the problem. Is there alot of noise with the sound you are getting when you turn it up?

SOURCE: JVC AX-66 Integrated Amplifier seems to be muted?

You need to have a jumper between the 4 standalone jacks on the right side of the column of stereo connectors. A stereo RCA cable would work for this.

Hi,

Please remove all sources of interference from the jvc device (ie radio, microphone, antenna etc). Then listen to the sound again. If the issue persists, please use another power source and check the device cables for any damage.

Thank you.

How do i turn my protector light off of my amp?

I'm not really sure how your amp works but i can tell you that if that light is on there is probably something wrong. Check your ground wire. Also it could be your not getting enough power to your amp, or too much

My JVC AX-33 is giving almos tno sound

My experience tells me that after an amplifier had been used for quite a while (more than 5 years), the contacts (on any button) wear out and become loose. If you try to press to engage, you will notice that the sound will come back on. The most frequently touched/used buttons are the one that wear out easily. These contacts should be replaced with original one. Substitute parts won't last long.
