Pull the power cord and leave it for about 10 minutes. Also unplug the network cable. Power it on and check if any symptoms change.

Blinkin light

Turn the main power to the unit off, leave off for about 20 seconds then turn back on. Unit should restart. The blinking light is a fault light that can be reset by turning main power off. Most times it will restart no problems but if the fault re occurs there is a problem with the unit itself. If the fan starts and runs for around 4 minutes on cooling mode then stops and blinks there is a problem with the outdoor unit.

I have a Designjet z2100. I loaded the drivers from the support site. Whenever I print, the printer display reports wrong file format. I am using window 7 64 bit and have tried using windows update to...

Next time include the System error code, in this case 61:XX.
Power off and remove the power cord. Reconnect and power on. Make sure that the correct driver is loaded.
Make sure that the Graphic language setting is correct.
Resend the file to the printer.
Make sure that the Firmware is up to date. Upgrading the Firmware will re-install the PostScript fonts.
It is also possible that the file is password protected.
Do all files fail?

Warning. Color sensor may not be working properly. If problem persists call HP.

The listed error message is accompanied by the error code "58:10"

This error code can mean one of two things. Either the color sensor (the spectrophotometer) is malfunctioning - in which the error code would persist and a technician would need to be called. Or the sensor picked up a piece of lint or dust when doing its self-calibration - in which case it would come up as a single occurrence.

Here is a follow-up suggestion if there was any further concern. With the following steps, the spectro instrument (along with the print head) can be inspected. To do that, select "Replace print head" from the front panel and then turn of the power (hard switch on the back of the machine). With the printer off, open the tinted glass and slide the carriage over. This should allow the carriage head with spectro instrument to be brought into view for inspection of an lint or dust, etc. To restart the printer, just close the tinted glass and power the printer back up from the hard switch.

Unmountable boot volume

hi,

-this can be a hardware problem or a software problem
-run diagnostics first on the computer
-turn off computer; while the computer is off, press and hold the "Fn" key then press power at the same time to initialize the test
-if you find error message like 0142 - this is a hard drive failure; contact your manufacturer for replacing your hard drive
-if no error is found, it is a corrupted Windows; you need to reinstall Windows, ensure you consult local technician to back-up files before installation.

cheers!
