You need to check all the resistors in the area of the ICs for opens and all the microfuses in the convergence area. Ur LCD inverter board is dead.Replaced this board will get ur picture back.It a long board uaslly.Tries Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish LCD inverter backlight board.
DID you ever get this fixed I am wanting to replace mine, I paid big $$ for this tv back 6 or so years ago, the picture cinvergence isnt real bad, but I cant line u the red and blues in the menu as good as they need to be. I was also wondering If i replace the lamp if the tv would be brighter. I have most my setting turned up but...The picture is not as bright and crisp as it used to be any one have a suggestion on this also..
I had same thing happen recently on same model. Turned it on one night, light came on in screen, briefly saw info bar at top, then nothing. Cannot get picture, volume or menu. Each time I turn off and turn on the same thing.
Any solution to this appreciated.
