There are a couple of ways. The best is to remove the memory card from your camera and insert it either in the SD card slot on your computer if it has one or into a USB SD card reader attached to your computer. Your computer (Mac or PC) will recognize the SC card as if it were any add on USB device such as an external hard drive. Go into "Finder" if you have an Apple or "Explorer" if you have a PC and you will find the device. Open the device/folder. In most cases there will be one or two sub-folders. Open the folders and look for files with the extension ".jpg". Those are your pictures. You can now create a folder on your desktop or another location and copy and paste or cut and paste your photos into that file.

The second method is to download the pictures directly from your camera using a USB cable. Although I am not familiar with your particular camera, there should be a small connector in which you can plug in the USB cable that should have come with your camera. Plug the other end into a USB port on your computer. The computer will recognize your camera as a device; just as it did in the first method. Again you can copy and paste your photos from your camera to your computer in the same way as I previously explained.

The third method is to use a transfer program. Most, but not all, cameras come with one or there are many for sale. Adobe has that function in there Bridge and Lightroom software although you may consider it pricy. With the software installed you can either connect your camera to the computer with a USB cable or use an SD slot or card reader. The software will automatically download and display your pictures.

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

I took 10 pictures without the memory card so the pictures are on the cameras memory i suppose. I'm now wanting to load them onto my computer but my picture program as well as computer can't see the...

Took a bit to find this this bad news in the manual but what happens now is to get the pictures from the internal memory to the computer as a down load you need to first insert a memory card format the memory card and load each picture from the internal memory onto the memory card one at a time once that is down then you can download the memory card to the computer then you will need to reformat the memory card and then go back into the internal memory erase each one of those images and format the internal memory. Now the GOOD news, you only have 10 pictures. Don't forget to do the formatting.
