When the transistor A2140 was damage, can transistor TT2140 be replaced?

I don't know the answer but wanted to advise you, a transistor doesn't burn out for no reason. Often it is caused by an overload condition. In a dc coupled circuit the bias for a group of transistors is set by the components of the first stage in the group. A shift in the component values/voltages of the first stage can upset the whole group so the final high current stage begins to "cook" and will eventually fail.
When replacing a transistor it is essential the parameters aren't exceeded which means testing and adjusting component values taking into account the gain of each transistor.

Contact the authorized service center for Sony. When replacing this transistor, so many other checks should be done. If not, it will bow up again and again. Gopakumar Gopalan Google

Your TV need a through checkup. There sill be a reason for the blow up to this transistor. Find the reason first, rectify it, and then replace the damaged component. Contact any experienced service technician.

Try to replace new harizontal output transistor.Before replacing the transistor,check the regulator and the flyback if shorted or not.If the flyback is shorted the harizontal output transistor will be damage again if you trying to turn on again.Thanks..

C5386 is a High Votage Colour Display Horizintal deflectin Output transistor by Fairchild. You can use C5296, C5148, MP4768, C5297,C12007,C4106,C5404T2062 etc. But if present transistor has damaged, check the LOT before replacing an other. OK.

The buzzing sound from your TV indicates that it LOY [Line Output Tranformer] has damaged. You have to open your tv and must have some knoledge in electoncis to retify this fault. Whe LOT said above is replaced, you have to replace its drive transistor also. Whe LOT getd damaged, the transistor that drives that will also get dameged. Therefore, when we replce the LOT, we have to replace the drive transistor also.
You just replace the its drive transistor first. After replacing it, just switch ON the Tv for a short time, say about 30 seconds or so, swtich it OFF, unplug it from mains supply, and check the heat of the above said transistor by bare figure touch. It may get warm, but not hot. If it overheats, it is an indication for you that the LOT is damaged and must be replaced wit same type annd number.
The horizontal out put transistor can be located very nere to LOT, and a three terminal component, look like a power transistor screwed on to a metal plate to radiate heat away from it, will be very close to the above said LOT.

The horizontal output transitor is always connected to the primary winding of the flyback transformer (via collector) and also to the horizontal deflection coil via an electrolytic capacitor. The most likely suspect for damaging the transistor is the fylback transformer. In some countries there are electronic stores that test flyback transformer by winding a few turns on the ferrite core and applying a test voltage. This test will only test the secondary. The primary winding is difficult to test for turn to turn short because the resistance is quite low and you do not know the 'good' resistance.
