Why do I have to keep tuning off my Regza TV at the wall socket to make it activate. When left on standby, it will not turn on until it has been disconnected and restarted.

I have a Sky + HD box and a Theatre System connected to the TVS.

Main power regulator board [SMPS] problem. The start voltage resistors at it should be checked. Contact any service technician.

Hard reset toshiba is04

Unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 10 minutes or so. This must make it a hard reset.

TV DOES NOT TURN ON STANDBY RED LIGHT STAYS ON

Hi Friend,
Check your TV's remote battries. If they are good, then, power off the TV at the main wall socket and unplug the power cord, leave it for 5 minutes. Now, connect back the main power cord, hold the Power On/Standby button on your TV and power then turn ON main switch on the wall. This should resolve your issue.

Thanks,
Shiva

Unplugged my 32LV67U to vacuum behind it and now it will not power up. Yellow LED keeps blinking and I waited several minutes but tv will not power up. Worked perfectly until I unplugged it. Called...

That wall outlet may have frequent surges so try another wall outlet see if it turns back on. If it turns on be sure to use a surge suppressor and never plug the TV directly into the wall outlet. The AC surges will kill the power supply of the TV in short time. See if there's a kill-switch near the ac adapter of the TV if there is turn it on.Get a surge protector/suppressor then try plugging it back in the wall. If still no power then the power board is already damaged, you can send the board too me and I'll repair it for you or seek your local repair center.

Tuning my toshiba tv to hdmi

You don't need to tune it to HDMI. Connect the HDMI cable to the rear HDMI socket & then select the HDMI source from the remote control, this will switch the TV to this input & show whatever the picture is from that source ie DVD/Cable etc.

When i turn my toshiba regza on I cannot access DTV all I get is a black screen. when i press the menu setup button this comes on for about a second then goes off again to a black screen. I can still use...

Try either the "content / menu" button between the volume and programme buttons. Failing that, when the tv has been powered up from the wall socket wait untill you hear a small click from the t.v (usually about 5 or so seconds after it has been switched on) before switching it on from the remote control, have no idea why this works but the dtv has worked for me ever since I powered the tv up like that

Can't re patch tv with set top box to watch tv

Hi.

Ok here goes.

1) Take airial lead from the wall socket in to antenna in on freeview box.

2) connect short usually black airial type lead in to antenna out socket on freeview. plug the other end of this lead in to aerial in on vcr.

3) connect the other end of this aerial type lead to airial plug on the back of tv.

4) now if you have 2 or more scart sockets on the back of tv set plug in the scarts in this order.
Freeview box scart with tv on it connect to scart 1 on tv set.
Freeview box vcr scart connect to vcr in scart socket on vcr.
Vcr scart marked tv plug scart from here to scart 2 on tv
If you have 3 scart sockets on tv you can connect dvd using scart to scart socket 3 on tv.

If Tv has only 1 scart the aerial leads will stay the same as I have stated,
Freeview must go to scart socket on tv set.
leave second scart from freeview to vcr plugged in so you can record freeview by putting vcr to line 1 or AV 1.
you will need to put tv on channel (0) & tune this channel to the video play a tape that you recognise then go to tv tuning & tune tv untill you see video playing then store this on channel (0).
DO NOT USE AUTO TUNING IT WILL PUT CHANNELS IN THE WRONG ORDER JUST USE MANUAL TUNING.

Now to view Dvd you will either need to purchase A scart switch box. Or have keep unpluging freeview scart from tv so you can plug in dvd .

If your tv has red yellow white phono sockets you can plug dvd in to these, you may need to purchase phono leads.

Hope this helps.
