you could have a bad temperture sensor bad are water valve but first check an make sure the washer drain alway check your drain hose for clog are lint are trash in pump an last you could have a bad timer if you dont know how to check these call a applince service for repair ok
If your washer is indeed a WFL2066, than the not spinning is directly relatedto the unit not draining.
These machines by design cannot spin if the drain is inadequate.
Here is the first step in resolving the problem, you need to access the drainpump/filter to clean it.
To reach the filter and clean it...
**Unplug the washer from the dryer or wall, or turn off the 30amp breakerat the home service panel...safety first**
1) Open the small square plastic door at the right bottom of thewasher.
2) Via the small hose drain any access water from the pump...this is where awet/dry shop-vac comes in handy, or a shallow pan with a few towels works a swell.
3) Then turn the pump insert/button trap counter clock-wise and pull out.Clean the trap out thoroughly running it under hot water and mild soap or your washer detergent and inspect inside the pump for any other foreign objects/obstructions.
4) Re-install the lint trap insuring it is good and snug/tight. Before closing up the small access door, run a short rinse spin cycle to check frleaks.

Hello,
Welcome to FixYa.
Based on your description you've already done a pretty good job of diagnosing the problem...now you just need to replace the pump. If it just "hums" on test step #5 (drain test) that will directly effect step #7 (spin test) since these units (almost any washer in fact) will not spin without a complete drain these pumps aren't cheap as you may already know. Of course you should do a final check to be certain the pump isn't "jammed" by some debris, otherwise it is the pump. Let me know how you make out or if you need further assistance and I'll try to help in any manner I can. Thank you for choosing FixYa and good luck. I hope you will take a moment to rate the assistance/info I provided here today, it is very much appreciated.

If you can confirm the model number to make sure we are discussing a FAV6800A or FAV9800A?
If we are can you put the machine in a Spin Only cycle and tell me the machine will complete the cycle with a wet load.If it doesn't complete the Spin Only cycle is there any banging of the wash tub in spin cycle? Is there any error code to Console LED (FAV6800A) or LCD (FAV9800A)? If you want to investigate further I would suggest getting the FAV6800A/FAV9800A Service Manual.
Google this ""Neptune TL Washer FAV6800AWW""
This is a sticky for the FAV6800A/FAV9800A washer DIY support.Go to the 5th post down in the Sticky and you will find a link for the Service Manual.
If you want to go further in troubleshooting and possibly a DIY fix just open a new thread in that DIY forum with Model number and Serial number. That info is found tag behind the console right back side as you face the machine console.
Completely normal. The pump will indeed run through the entirety of the spin cycle, it is by design.
As the items spin, more and more water is extracted and if the pump should fail to operate during this time it would cause increased vibration and inadequate extraction to achieve it's superior spin cycles.
Hope that helps quell your concern. Let me know if I can assist you further.
