HOW DO I FIX EPSON C8600 E520 ERROR?

Epson printer blinks both red and green lights, which means the paper gets jammed in your Epson printer. You can fix the issue using the steps:

Check the paper. Before inserting paper separate it from on another so that they wont stick together. Sometimes printer would take two papers at the same tome if the papers are sticky to each other and and can cause jams.

E520 is an error of the 2nd BTR (2nd rollers of transfer)

I had a problem with the manual tray once. I don't remember the error number, if it was the E833, but the tray didn't lift up at the time. I solved the problem myself just disassembling the tray motor, on the right side. I realized that one plastic gear was a little cracked, so it lost strength to wheel. I didn't purchase a new motor, I simply reinforced the gears with a special kind of glue. Guess what, it worked!

i do not know where are you located but in germany this bit cost over 300euro... bit can be exchanged on site by yourself, it is front part of the side feeder assy...

E520 is a 2nd BTR sensor error. It is usually caused by waste toner getting on the sensor. Turn off the printer and open the top panel. Lift up the orange handle to unlock the PCU and remove the PCU by lifting it up using the carry handle. Be careful with the PCU drum as it is easily scratched and avoid bright light. Inside the printer on the rear "wall" is a spring loaded cover which can be pushed down to uncover the sensor. It will stick in the down position, do NOT try to force it up again (it will spring back into the right position when the PCU is refitted). Give the sensor a wipe with a soft cloth and refit the PCU. Close the lid and turn back on, with luck all will now be well. If you still have the same error it is time to get proffessional help unless you are experienced at testing voltages and taking printers apart.
