Your Dbs are not correct. You are going to need a pre amp/mixer inline to make the necessary corrections to your audio output.

SOURCE: I just received a GPX JM250S Karaoke Party

The music to sing along with apparently MUST come from a disk played on the unit. It appears that the external audio jacks are just to use the unit as either a boombox or to drive a larger sound system. You will have to convert your IPOD music into a Karaoke compatible CD to be able to sing along with it... They probably detect MIC input and mute any incoming signals from the RCA jack inputs,

My 800 watt powered mixer was working fine until a keyboardist plugged in his keys and amp. The sound would fade out. When it was unplugged, it worked fine. Later that even, another DJ with an 800-watt...

All sound equipment has to operate without overloads in any given place. The power source should always be examined at commercial gigs and worked out with other performers along with management. The only fix is to do these checks up front and make safe arrangements.

GPX Karaoke Party Machine sound but no words

I think the backlight of your screen is out, which can be complicated. I think it is working but just not lighting up. I'll look this thing up and let you know more later. Please send me a make and model number when you can.

How come the disc for Malata MDVD 6628 cannot be played for a whole song. It can only be played for only about 30 sec, after that, it suddenly changed to random sound which is is not a song.

That would be typical of song "clips" that they give you to "preview" the song before you have to BUY the full version to be able to use it. Usually thosee run for 30 seconds and then fade out.

I am a dj/kj i'm looking into purchasing a Acesonia 1000 but I have some reservations...

An observation is that the large music suppliers like Musicians Friend, Sameday music, and Guitar Center do not stock the Acesonic brand. As a professional you need to cover yourself should you have equipment failure so a good starting point is to investigate what is available as rental... also they tend to choose robust stuff for rental...

Also, if you are packing a 500GB hard drive as media, it needs to be handled with kid gloves...

KARAOKE MACHINE PLAYS SOUND BUT NOT WORDS

I assume you know that you MUST use special Karaoke disks to have lyrics displayed... Ordinary music CD's do not have that data on them.

When i put a cd in to play, we cant get the words to show on digital screen??

You MUST use a special Karaoke CD disk to show lyrics on the screen. Plain music CD's will play music but NOT display the lyrics. Karaoke disks can be expensive... so shop online for Karaoke CD's. Some music stores, including Costco and other warehouses sell some Karaoke disks, but they are usually in a very small section of the displays.
