How to turn on wifi - Computers & Internet

I might need more information from you like phone make/model, os, etc. but the best place to start is to turn off wifi locator, turn on airplane mode, turn phone off, turn back on, turn airplane mode off, turn wifi locator back on and search for wifi signal

Ok so I tried to turn on my WiFi in the settings and it would say turning on ... myphone, done a factory reset and even used a WiFi fixing app. ... wifi fixer doesn'twork. ... to lock my phone without the screen staying on for 15 seconds or so. ... I was having trouble turning on wifi on my tablet and one of the post ... Auto Rotate does not work.

check if your wifi from BIOS is turned on or off.

May be a faulty wifi card.

But check Adapter settings in control panel to ensure wifi card is "enabled" and check device manager to ensure correct wifi driver is installed.

You will need to be sure that there is wifi turned on in the area that you are trying to use your phone.
Then you try to go through the wifi list on the phone and delete all the wifi that it has ever seen and worked with. Then you turn off the phone for about 5 minutes, then you turn it on and turn on the wifi on the phone and search for the wifi available, that way it will search for the available wifi and connect to it.

The EZ button software must be installed to turn the radio on or off. The switch on the side does nothing.

you need to buy the wifi plug in from the archos website, then unload it on to device
