yes you can, just connect it to the computer. Don't let it update to IOS 8.2, because it will ask you for the code on the iPhone screen.
Then iTunes will backup your phone.
At least I hope you already did backup it at least once.
I don't know what happens when you connect the phone to iTunes for the first time, because that was so long ago.
Success.
double press the home (round button at the bottom of the phone screen) twice and swipe up over iTunes (or music) to close that app. no reliance music and it should be back to normal
Make sure you try restarting the actual phone by holding down both the lock screen button and the home button. if that doesnt work you'll have to completely restore the phone to remove the bug and use as brand new. DO NOT back up the phone to put everything back on because the bug will go straight back on aswell.
Well, based on the wording of your question, I assume that when you attempt to slide your lockscreen away to unlock the device, that the lockscreen doesn't slide or respond to your finger movement. If touching the screen gives you no response at all, (which you can test by sliding to power off after holding the home button as an alternative) then your issue is a malfunctioning digitizer.
The digitizer is the touch sensitive glass component of the phone, and is attached to the LCD screen on the inside of the phone. These can be ordered on amazon.com as one piece, and you can either replace it yourself or find someone who could replace it for you. If you don't wish to go through all of that trouble, then you may want to consider either replacing the phone, or bringing it into an Apple retail store. If your phone is still under warranty, then the Apple store may just give you a new phone free of charge (which is what happened to me when my iPhone 5 malfunctioned.)
hi. back up your info & reset the phone . setting general about all the way down & choose the second one erase all setting & content .
if you need the imei you have them on the box or in the back of the phone .
The physical differences between the iPhone 5 and 5S are the camera flash and the home button. iPhone 5 has a single LED flash while the iPhone 5S has a dual LED flash. And the iPhone 5 home button doesn't have the circular ring around the button which is the finger print sensor unlike on the iPhone 5S.
The display is smaller than droid phones because the experts at Apple determined that the ability to reach all the way across the phone with your thumb was more important that a large screen. They wanted to make the phone usable in one hand. (It appears to have worked, too if you notice how many iPhone users have their phones out all the time)
