There could be a few reasons why your Kyocera FS-2000D is giving you the "close the top cover" error message even though the cover is closed. Here are a few things you can try:
Check the top cover switch: There is a switch located near the hinge of the top cover that tells the printer when the cover is closed. If this switch is stuck or malfunctioning, it can cause the error message. Try cleaning the switch or replacing it if necessary.
Check the toner cartridge: Sometimes, if the toner cartridge is not seated properly, it can cause the printer to think that the top cover is not closed. Try removing and reinserting the toner cartridge to see if that helps.
Check the firmware: In some cases, a firmware update can fix issues with the top cover sensor. Check the Kyocera website for any available firmware updates and follow the instructions to install them.
If none of these solutions work, it's possible that there is a hardware issue with the printer that will require professional repair.
Telephone your local Kyocera business office, and ask them to dispatch a service-technician to your location, so that the problem can be diagnosed and fixed.
Error code 0150 is an engine EEPROM communication error. The engine board might need to be replaced. I have heard that sometimes a defective developer unit could cause this same error code. I would try swaping a develper from a working FS-2000D first.
clean all the rollers... with isoproyl alcohol... it sounds like the feed rollers aren't picking up... if that doesn't work you will have to have the feed rollers replaced...
first turn off your pritner power.
check open the front door pull your ink cartridge then clean dust and blur from it then check there is not any paper jam then refix ink cartridge.then turn on the power.
check the basic user guide Chapter 4 - Troubleshooting pages 4-5 to 4-10 about a specific error message. Make sure you are using the latest print driver from kyocera website ! If is really need it you can expand the memory !!
