I got this Dell Optiplex GX50 but it won't load Windows OS... since it has no files i want to save, I'm trying to format the Hard Disk Drive from zero with a CD so I select de CD Drive as the first boot device and the HDD as the second one, but in front of these two options it says none of them are installed... i already tried to "abilitate them" but I don't see this option anywhere... I still run it with the CD ROM as first boot device and after it tries for some time it says it won't find any device to start from... Where should I start looking to fix this?... Thank you for the time to give me any tips...
Which cdrom is it? Is it a windows XP cd? This is an older PC? Does it have a floppy disk drive? Try downloading from Barts a bootable floppy disk, set boot order to floppy in BIOS, change to cdrom drive letter after booting to floppy (D:?)
got to I386 folder and set up from there.
More info would be helpful.
