Lost Coolpix S3000 Nikon digital camera on trip. Need serial number for claim. can't find it written down anywhere (purchased Costco 8/7/2010). who/what contact to find the SN registered under?
Is there a website or a 1-800 # I can call to get the SN I registered?

I work at an authorized Nikon service center and I don't see many S3000 models coming in for repairs. Most camera point and shoot models that have an extending lens are subject to lens errors. Most of those errors are also a result of shock or impact and not manufacturer's defect. Hope this helps!

Let's see...Brazil...heat...humidity...probably affected the sensor. The camera needs either service or replacement. Some cameras cannot handle the heat and humidity.
